Hello everyone.

We are having a hard time deciding on a final name for the forum, so we'd like your input! I will set up a poll after a few days. So far these are the entries.

East American Airsoft Collective
CONCERNS: it's a long name. Especially for a youtube title.

East Coast Airsoft
CONCERNS: it is already the name of a shop and yours truly the website admin doesn't want to get sued.

Eastern Airsoft
CONCERNS: Seems general and not the name of something.

Eastern Airsoft Collective
CONCERNS:

East American Collective
CONCERNS: doesn't have airsoft in the name. Maybe not show up in search results.

To suggest a name, just post it in this thread. Discussion on names is encouraged as well as concerns.

Anything with "east coast" will not work, it implies that we are in New England or Florida or both, and most of the states are not even on the east coast. I like East American Airsoft Collective because it can be shortened down to EAAC for YouTube and stuff, and the full name can be put in the description of the video. Eastern Airsoft- are we in china? Honestly BNB, EAAC is the only reasonable choice we have. It may not be the best, but if the worst that can go wrong is someone reads for an extra 2 seconds because the name is a bit lengthy in the description of a youtube video, I'd say we are doing fairly well.

I just dont like the collective part of it... idk i just like East American Airsoft..... with airsoft being the last part, it short, plus when just googling airsoft it would put it pages before something with collective as the last word

I agree with osawaab on all that but the collective, it's what we are and without us being a "collective" it is kinda hard to explain to someone what our organization is about and what it is trying to do. I think either EAAC or EAA will work fine but personally I think EAAC still, just sounds catchier :/

On the header? That is like, where we would need it the least. It isn't like it's that big a deal to make minor changes like dropping one letter on the header, but once you choose to put something or take away something on a URL or YouTube title it's done, no going back. I do not see why the longer name is bad for YouTube and stuff when we can shorten it down to EAAC. I do see however that it would be a problem with the URL and search results. EAA however just doesn't fit, we are a collective of players from the collected states, I for one do not see why you would leave that out besides the URL of the forum and search results.

I really don't want to muddy the water with a new idea at this late date, But, how about the AAC American Airsoft Coalition? It removes the east coast reference, removes the "collective" which sounded kinda like a Russian farm to me, and seams to flow smoothly over the tongue.
