ok, and what about the SHS gears? do i need them or can i use the JG 18:1 set that i already have??? (if i can use the JG i would use the spared money to get a lonex shell, which comes with bushings and other good stuff.)

I'd try the JG and if it's not fast enough, go with the SHS. I don't think it will be fast enough because the JG blue is kinda slow, but it's worth a try. Ou should be able to get 25 rps max or so on the 18:1.

update: its been a while, been busy with school. Will be ordering some of the smaller parts soon, sorbo, air nozzle, piston head, MS110SP spring, and shims. I dont have pics but I have cleaned/polished barrel, cylinder, and gearbox.
edit: pics up soon, and the original problem was a completely striped piston and two chipped teeth on the bevel gear.

Refresh, update, what ever you want to say. I have all the parts either on the way or here at my house, and I switched some parts out for others for $ issues. SHS 13:1 gears, a new bucking because I tore the first one, a ZCI HT motor, bushings, and lipo stuff is all I can remember now, but I need to save up a bit more and buy all new wiring and a MOSFET, then start piecing it together.

Ok I know there are not that many techs on here but I have new trigger contacts and need new wiring, what fets can I get that's already hooked up to the rest of the wiring, I dont have the means to solder. I know for $40 I can get a Zard fet all ready to go but it would be wired to deans, everything I have is tamiya.

Dude....you can get a soldering iron and solder for like 10 bucks. It's a skill that is very useful. I don't think there is one that is already wired to contacts other than zards and others on the forum - who else was making them? Infi? Anyway, you could probably ask Zard if he could do Tamiya connectors. Heck, you could ship him your batteries and get them converted if you really don't want to solder.

I asked him before I was banned and he said that he would not do tamiya connectors. And I think I had a major brain fart earlier today, my dad is a welder and he may have the means to solder :/...

Ok good news, the father has a soldering gun and is willing to show me how to use it. That alone will save me lots of $$$$, because I already am $20 over my budget, and need a MOSFET for the big bad lipo coming in.
