I am trying to try teching and modding again. Some of you over on AS may have seen my first attempt to tech, which was not pretty. I am going to try again, hopefully with fewer screw ups. So far I have only one project in mind, but it will be rather costly. Here is my first idea:
KJW 10/22 scout/battle rifle.
goals: -accurate to 225ft+, able to reach at least 250ft. -fps of 350 with .2's -looks awesome.
parts so far: -kjw 10/22 -butler creek 10/22 folding stock (will need to do stock mod)(http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/2-BTLRFS10B) -cradle velocity reducer (http://www.cradleairsoft.com/shop/velocity-reducer-kjw1022) -falcon hop up rubber (http://www.scopeandlaser.com/index.php?cat=&p=6&id=12533) -cheapish short dot scope (http://www.opticsplanet.com/barska-1-5-4-5x20-ir-tactical-riflescope-ac10770.html)
I am going to dig through my old games and see what I can sell. I also need to find some sort of income as I am still too young for a job. Once I get the money, I will start this project.

Subbing. And teching is all about screw ups. You just have to learn from them and don't be insane. (Aka doing the same thing over expecting different results)
I am looking for a few opinions here, which stock would you rather have on a 10/22? The butler creek folder, or a good old wood stock? I like both, both have their ups and downs. Which would you guys choose and why?

The folder is ugly AF so definitely the wood. And is say tune it for range and accuracy. Basically make a sniper rifle out of it.

I do not plan to make it a sniper rifle as PEV's is more or less a CQB area with some longer ranges. This is more or less supposed to be a battle rifle/scout rifle. I am tempted by the folding option so that way when I enter a building I can fold the stock and make it more menuverable. But the normal stock looks nice. I am going to look at some other stocks I can get.
I am thinking of getting a plastic bull barrel specific stock. I am also considering putting on a surpressor because, to me, the barrel looks too short in a normal stock.
Also, I recently got $200 (now $180 because I bought some scorpion mags from I_N_J over on AS). So I am getting closer. I believe this project will cost about $500, maybe more.
