I did it, and it was not that frustrating.
I just followed robin hood's r hop guide. and it turned out pretty good.
I have not yet done range tests though.

Well, I have done a little bit of clocking, and I did my first r hop Badly...
My gun still has more range than it ever did, but in NO WAY comes anywhere close to 230 ft minimum that zardichar says.
With .25g bbs it shoots about 100 ft flat with the power of an M110. Note, the hop up is a two piece JG JUNK thing, but I am not sure that would make that big of a difference besides airseal.
